Electronic Arts today announced that Lukas Podolski will be joining FC Barcelona's Ronaldinho and Man U's Wayne Rooney as one of FIFA 06's cover athletes for the European release of the game. 20-year-old Podolski is a striker for FC Cologne and played for the German national team at Euro 2004. The North American release of FIFA 06 will see Ronaldinho, DC United's Freddy Adu, and Chivas Guadalajara's Omar Bravo lending their mugs to the cover. FIFA 06 is scheduled to ship for multiple platforms this fall.
