Nvidia RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 Buyer's Guide: Be Notified When They're In Stock
Nvidia RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 Buyer's Guide: Be Notified When They're In Stock
May 20, 2024 2:40 AM

With the GeForce RTX 3000 series, Nvidia is targeting both the people who always want to have cutting-edge tech at their disposal and anyone who simply hasn't upgraded their rig in a little while. All of the RTX 3000 cards are more powerful than the company's current flagship GPU, the RTX 2080 Ti, making this year's line of cards particularly enticing.

If your setup is able to capitalize on it, the RTX 3080 in particular is a fantastic graphics card. In our RTX 3080 review, editor Michael Higham writes that "if you don't care about 4K or aren't trying your hardest to get the most out of a high refresh rate 1440p monitor, I'd consider the RTX 3080 overkill, for now," but that "if you're still on the GTX 10 series, this might be a good generation to hop with great features like DLSS for simultaneous image quality and performance improvements, and ray tracing which is increasingly relevant in games."

Now Playing: Which Nvidia 30 Series Card Is Right For You? (RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070)

The RTX 3080 became available this morning, then immediately sold out. They're going to be tough to find for a while, so may want to check back regularly at retailers like Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, and Nvidia.

Preorders for the RTX 3090 and RTX 3070 aren't available yet, but you can sign up for notifications at Nvidia's official website. This will ensure you're one of the first people to know when preorders for these cards go live.

Nvidia RTX 3090 and 3070: How To Sign Up For Preorder Notifications

To register for preorder notifications for the GeForce RTX 3070 and 3090, you can head over to Nvidia's official website and click the "Notify Me" button. A window will pop up asking you to select the 30 Series product(s) you're interested in--the GeForce RTX 3090 or 3070--as well as your email address and age. You can choose whether or not to tick the checkbox to subscribe to promotional emails from Nvidia, then hit the "Submit" button. And you're good to go!

You'll get an email when preorders for the GeForce RTX 3070 and 3090 cards become available, though you'll want to act fast because whenever Nvidia releases a new line of GPUs, they always sell out quickly. Newegg has also put up placeholders for a number of different RTX 3000 cards from multiple manufacturers, all of which allow for stock notifications.
