April 1 - Since the Nintendo 64 was released, hackers hoping to recreate N64 games on a PC have been thwarted by a Nintendo employee. GameSpot News spoke with a coder inside the big N who chooses to remains anonymous.

　　GSN: So what was your inspiration?Anonymous Coder: After watching all those little punks out there on the Web trying to crack the code and emulate our system (the Nintendo 64) on the PC, I got sick of it and said I can do that stuff.

　　GSN : How long did it take you to do make the emulator? AC: Well, I left work late on Friday. So it took about a weekend. It was pretty easy; I don't know how the little so-called hacking punks could have missed all the stupid little things I left in there to point them on their way. Idiots! They just didn't see them at all. Do they speak English?

　　GSN: What do you hope to do with the emulator now that it is done?AC: Delete it.

　　GSN: Why not release it to the public? AC: Why should I? I mean, come on, I did it in a weekend, and the kids out there have had months to do it. So I've given them proof that it can be done. Since they're such idiots, I just tell them to go out and buy a Nintendo 64.
