Thanksgiving and Black Friday might be so close we can taste them, but Netflix is doing its part to also close out the year mightily. Netflix has announced its full set of movies, shows, and other original content for next month--here's what you can expect to watch on the streaming service in December.
Starting with the familiar faces that Netflix is bringing back, on December 17 Season 2 of The Witcher is coming to the streaming service. A synopsis for the next batch of episodes is as follows: "Convinced Yennefer's life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows: his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent's kings, elves, humans, and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside."
Later in the month, Cobra Kai is coming back for Season 4 on December 31. Season 3 ended with Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) joining forces to unite their respective dojos in a battle against Kreese (Martin Kove) and Cobra Kai. Now, looking forward, former foes Daniel and Johnny are finding ways to work together, even if it's not going as smoothly as one might hope--that shouldn't be much of a surprise, though.
In between those two, another standout is Don't Look Up--which comes to Netflix on December 24. Written and directed by Adam McKay (The Big Short, Succession), which follows astronomers played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence trying to inform the President--and the world at large--that a comet is coming to destroy Earth. The problem is, no one believes them.
Take a look at the complete list of everything arriving on the platform next month below.
