Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have been working hard on the soon to be released new Berserk game, currently known as Berserk Musou, and have recently shown more of the game with new screenshots and a new trailer. Today, the Japanese magazine Famitsu confirmed some additional details on the game and its features.
On its official website, Famitsu confirmed that Casca and Judeau, two of the more prominent members of Griffith's Band of the Hawk, will be playable in the game. A low quality image taken from the next issue of the magazine has also been made available, and you can check it out right below.
Last week, more Berserk Musou screenshots have been made available online, showcasing Schierke, one of Guts' companions, as well as the Tower of Conviction and a variety of other locations. Needless to say, Schierke will be able to use a variety of elemental spells which will deal huge damage to hordes of enemies players will have to fight during the course of the game.
Koei Tecmo’s Berserk Musou will cover most of the Berserk story, starting from the beautiful Golden Age arc until the Millennium Falcon arc, with scenes from the original anime and the more recent movies also getting in. The game will also include additional story material and interactions that have never been seen before, as well as multiple playable characters. Among the confirmed playable characters are Guts, Griffith, Casca, Judeau and Schierke.
Berserk Musou will launch this September in Japan on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. The game has been confirmed for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but a final release date has yet to be confirmed.
