Subscribers can download the game right now through the EA Access app on Xbox One or via Xbox.com. The file size is 18.18 GB. Progress achieved during the trial carries forward to the full game.
Other games with free EA Access trials include NBA Live 16, FIFA 16, NHL 16, Madden NFL 16, and Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. DICE's Star Wars Battlefront will join the lineup on November 12, five days before the game is released everywhere else.
Early access to upcoming EA games is just one EA Access perk. Subscribers also get access to an ever-growing library of free games and can save 10 percent on all EA digital content. EA Access is available for $5/month or $30/year exclusively on Xbox One.
Need for Speed, which Ghost Games is calling a "full reboot," launches November 3 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC edition will arrive in 2016. For more, check out GameSpot's new preview in the video above.
