The game features licenses from both Major League Baseball (MLB) and Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), wild pitches, and wild fielding throws, the new 1999 MLBPA team rosters, and 1998 players and stats, and multiplayer support via modem, LAN, or Internet.
In addition, 3DO's holy rolling shooter, Requiem: Avenging Angel shipped as well on Wednesday. Players control the angel known as Malachi as he takes out fallen angels with up to twenty heavenly attacks, including boiling blood, turning to salt, or locust swarm. Up to eight players can play the game in multiplayer mode. The game is also the first to achieve 1920 x 1280 at 30 fps on Voodoo3 and TNT2 cards.
