Gaming appears to be a lucky charm for the creators of South Park. The Comedy Central show won its second Emmy in six nominations on Saturday for "Make Love, Not Warcraft," an episode dedicated to Blizzard's massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The other South Park Emmy came in 2004 for "Best Friends Forever," an episode that tied into the PlayStation Portable launch.
The award for Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour) was announced as part of the 59th Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Fellow nominees included Robot Chicken's "Lust for Puppets," The Simpsons' "The Haw-Hawed Couple," SpongeBob SquarePants' "Bummer Vacation," and Avatar: The Last Airbender's "City of Walls and Secrets."
