The PC version of Codemasters' racing game DiRT 3 will abandon Microsoft's Games for Windows Live service, the publisher has announced.
2011's DiRT 3 will instead shift to Valve's Steamworks, which the developer used for its more recent games GRID 2 and F1 2013.
When asked on Twitter if the developer is looking to shift the game and its downloadable content to Steam, the developer replied "we are working on it but it may not be until the new year."
DiRT 3 joins the likes of BioShock 2 and Batman: Arkham City, which have already transitioned away from GFWL.
Microsoft announced in August that it would be closing the Games for Windows Live service in July 2014.
