Now Playing: Crash Bandicoot 4 Brings Nostalgia & Pure Platforming Joy
The Beenox Pack, which was released back in March, is the final update for the game, and the developer says there's no additional content in the works. "Part of the reason is that we're hard at work on some incredible projects, including making the N. Verted modes in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (which will blow you away), and some other things we can't quite mention yet," Beenox said.
The developer goes on to mention that all of the current modes and features in Nitro-Fueled will continue on, including online multiplayer, leaderboards, and the Pit Stop.
The kart racer received an 8/10 in GameSpot's Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled review. Critic Oscar Dayus praised the game as an excellent remaster, saying, "Nitro-Fueled maintains the spirit and rock-solid foundations of a childhood favorite while building on it and modernizing it where necessary--even if the handling might take a bit of getting used to."
Meanwhile, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, which picks up after the end of the third game, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, is set to launch on October 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
