Bloodborne Saw Cleaver Gets Made in Real Life
Bloodborne Saw Cleaver Gets Made in Real Life-May 2024
May 7, 2025 6:51 AM

The weapons in Bloodborne are some of the most brutal-looking in video games, and their ability to transform makes them look especially savage. Now, blacksmiths have created a working, real-life version of the game's saw cleaver (via Destructoid).

YouTube series Man at Arms made the signature Bloodborne weapon on a recent episode. The saw cleaver's blade was built out of a piece of railroad track and its handle out of black iron pipe. They even created the pivot point, which allows the cleaver to transition between its two forms.

The team of blacksmiths finished the Bloodborne cleaver and tested it out on plastic bottles, a can of shaving cream, and a fake zombie head. You can check out the entire build process and test phase in the video above.

Man at Arms is known for its recreations of weapons from movies, video games, and anime. Other video game weapons the show has made include the Hylian Shield from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Geralt's swords from The Witcher 3, and the Oathkeeper Keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts series.

Another builder made a working Call of Duty flamethrower out of Lego.
