Bill & Ted Face the Music is the long-awaited third movie in the much-loved comedy series, and it currently scheduled to hit theaters at the end of August. There's even more good news for Bill and Ted fans--the first film, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, has been remastered in 4K and is about to receive a deluxe home entertainment and theatrical release. But unfortunately for fans in the US and elsewhere around the world, this is in the UK only.

　　The 4K restoration of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure releases on August 10 in a variety of formats. There's a 4K UHD Blu-ray, a limited edition Steelbook, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download. 　　Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was released in 1989, and starred Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as teenage metalheads who go on a time travelling adventure to complete a school assignment. It was directed by Stephen Herek, and was followed two years later by Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

　　Bill & Ted Face the Music is currently scheduled to hit theaters--in the US this time--on August 28. However, it has already moved back from its initial August 12 date, and obviously the COVID-19 pandemic has put all upcoming release dates in question.
