In a somewhat quirky combination of music and games, Atomic Pop, a music-driven, lifestyle web platform has launched two new total conversions (TCs) for Quake II and Unreal.
Named Panic I and Panic II, respectively, these TCs feature science-fiction music-themed levels based on the rock group L7.
In keeping with our commitment to providing an immersive buying experience, we created Panic I and II as a means for our under thirty demographic to stay entertained while they buy, said Al Teller, founder of Atomic Pop. Panic II, because it is based on the Unreal engine, allows players to preview music at Atomic Pop listening stations, interact with artist-based characters, or merely go for the full shoot 'em up experience. The sci-fi music universe we've created is complete with new environments, including an original soundtrack, weapons, and characters that we hope will entertain both music and game fans alike.
Both Panic I and II are available for download at Atomic Pop's web site.
