Ubisoft has unveiled a new live-action prequel for its upcoming open world shooter The Division. Produced in conjunction with YouTube all-stars RocketJump, devinsupertramp, and CorridorDigital, the four-part series chronicles the backstories of four separate Division agents during the early stages of their activation in a post-pandemic New York City. According to Ubisoft, the cumulative run-time clocks in at approximately 30 minutes. No firm release plans have yet been detailed.
Though it's unclear if any of the characters established in the segmented short film will appear in the game itself, the series promises to provide a glimpse at the world players will find themselves in both during The Division's upcoming beta and when the game launches on March 8 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
