When Hasbro picks a week to make announcements, it fills everyday to the fullest. Of course, the American International Toy Fair (running this week in New York) has something to do with it.
Swift on the heels of the announcement that Hasbro was acquiring Tiger Electronics and its assets and that Hasbro picked up the PC and PlayStation licenses for Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune comes today's news that the company has entered into an exclusive publishing deal with Smart Games Inc., a Massachusetts-based publisher of puzzle CD-ROM titles.
Hasbro will license and publish Smart Games Challenge I and II as well as future titles under the Smart Games brand. Those titles feature a collection of word, strategy, math, and visual puzzles.
