　　In an announcement posted on their Facebook, Garena has disqualified the Vietnamese team Neolution E-sports Full Louis from the Garena Premier League Summer season as information has come to light that two of their players - Le “Sofm” Quang Duy and Vuong "Jeff" Xuan Duc are under 17 years old.

　　Garena cites Article 1.1, Section 1 of the Garena Premier League Rule book as the cause for disqualification. Article 1.1 states:

　　1. Player Eligibility

　　1.1. No player shall be considered eligible to participate in any Garena Premier League-affiliated match before his/her 17th birthday, defined as having lived 17 full years.

　　Garena has issued the following punishment for Neolution Full Louis:

　　1. Neolution E-sports Full Louis is disqualified from the GPL Summer 2014 season

　　2. Neolution E-sports Full Louis will not receive any Circuit Points from the GPL Summer 2014 season

　　3. Neolution E-sports Full Louis will not receive any prize money from the GPL Summer 2014 season

　　4. Neolution E-sports Full Louis will lose their right to play in Semi-final #2 against ahq.

　　Logitech G Fighter will instead head to face ahq in the semi-finals of the Garena Premiere League Summer season.

　　So far everything points to a perfectly legitimate disqualification. Controversy has erupted on the announcement page as one of the disqualified players Le “Sofm” Quang Duy has been playing in the Garena Premier League without issues for two GPL seasons this year. Many have taken to social media and expressed their outrage of Garena's incompetence and ineptitude of checking the ages of their players. A few, more radical spectators have stated that the ruling happens now due to Garena being overly pro Taiwanese with some users even dubbing the GPL as the Taiwanese Premeire League.
