Jose Mourinho may have already become the highest-profile managerial casualty of the real-life football season, but wannabe managers are still lining up to see if they can do better in the virtual world.
To help them out, Sega has today announced that Football Manager 2008, due for release in late October, is available in demo form. The Football Manager 2008 demo can be downloaded via the Sports Interactive Web site and is available in two flavours: vanilla and strawberry.
The vanilla demo is a stripped-down version, containing only the English and Scottish leagues and playable only in English. There are also no logos or player photos. The strawberry demo, which weighs in at 532MB, includes multiple languages (English, Danish, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish), player pictures, logos, and several leagues.
Sports Interactive has also launched the official FM08 Web site , which includes a blog by managing director Miles Jacobson.
