Whack That Yam is a real stop-motion Whack'em-all game created in 48 hours as part of #GGJ2023 You are a yam farmer whose yams have come to life and are determined to escape their garden bed and make a jump for it to escape the cliff-top garden!
Your goal is simple: Whack as many yams as possible! By whacking a yam, you are rooting it back into the ground, causing it to sprout new yams, which you will have to stop escaping.
The entire game is made of real stop-motion assets -
Each frame was 3d-scanned individually, and all animations in the game are set to run at exactly 12 fps in perfect sync.
