Terra Wake is our first 3D project, that we've worked on for 6 week by Futuregames Indie Students.

  Our intention for the game was to take inspiration from Shadow of the Colossus and Monster Hunter, and with fun movement mechanics, and with the artistic inspiration more from Nordic Folklore and nature.

  We wanted to take the feeling of how just gigantic the colossus feel in Shadow of the Colossus, but make the combat more action packed like in Monster Hunter.

  Our intent was to add co-op and have a crafting system for both weapons and gear, where you can customize how it looks while crafting it, as well as having a character creator.

  We realized instantly that it's a very daunting task to take on, and we tried to scope low for this project, with just focusing on getting the Giants and Player movement in, since that alone would be a lot to do for 6weeks, but we wanted to challenge our self.

  We think with just more experience we could make this into a game, but for now, we're putting this project on this shelf while go work on something that we feel we could release into a full game instead.
