SPLIT THE BODY ASUNDER is a medieval-inspired, gothic romance interactive fiction about opening people up—be it by scalpel or a coaxing whisper. You are a physician who has taken over your late master’s practice on the outskirts of the capital and, unbeknownst to you, a heavy debt that forces you to work as a caretaker to a purportedly ill countess. Unfortunately, you suspect you’re not the only one vying for her money… though you may be the only one willing to keep her alive for it. Bring to light the tensions that have plagued Castle Blesser for far too long and be quick; the body can only tolerate so much, after all.

　　Zariah Bede - the countess’s righthand - maybe it’s just out of fealty that they’re so wary of you. they are skeptical, stubborn, and forthright. you don’t want to think what they’ll do if their countess ends up dying on your watch.Malachi Savea - you shouldn’t have talked to them because turns out they know things. they are irreverent, animated, and quick-witted, the definition of a charmer - they always seem several steps ahead. they could open your eyes, but first you’d have to trust them. Lu Wen - another doctor, the one other than you in the area currently. why are they even here? they are intense, competitive, and terribly observant. look out for this one - they say they’re a traveling doctor, a nomad, but they seem quite content loitering around you.
