James Sunderland has to jump down quite a lot of holes in Silent Hill 2. But what if we didn't see the "whole" (pun intended") story? What if every time James went through one of those holes, he entered a place in his mind almost like a dream. The kind of dream that's just real enough to kill you.

This "what if" scenario inspired my newest game - Silent Hill: Abyss Lord. James must literally crawl into the abyss and come out lord of all in the end. Do you have what it takes to help James survive this bump in the road so that he can move toward the horrific truth at the end of Silent Hill 2? I think you do. Let's find out!

Battle through Lying Figures, Mannequins, Nurses, and a couple surprise enemies. Find remnants of Silent Hills history including Robbie the Rabbit, radios, the Flauros, the book of Crimson Ceremony, the paper bag from P.T., the TV from Silent Hill 2 where James watches the Mary VHS tape, the mannequin with Mary's dress, hospital stretchers, and more! Oh and don't forget....look behind you!

  CONTROLS:

  WASD (+Q&E) = MOVEMENT

  OPEN DOORS = SPACE

  SHOW MAP = M

SHOOT = LEFT CLICK on MOUSE

AIM = MOUSE (mouse aiming has issues sometimes, see below)

NOTE: Q+E is for turning, A+D are for strafing - I recommend using the mouse plus WASD and ignoring Q+E

ABOUT MOUSE ISSUES: I am using a very, very old game engine. A modern mouse often has a POLLING RATE that is much higher than this engine can comprehend sometimes. If you are having issues with your mouse, you'll need to lower the polling rate. My mouse is a Corsair M65 and Corsair has a software called iCUE that I used to lower my polling rate. You just open that software, click on the picture of your mouse, go to device settings, and change the polling rate from whatever it's set to (probably 1000) to something closer to 125. That should resolve the problem. If you don't have a Corsair mouse but are still having issues, you'll need to use their equivalent software to change the polling rate.
