Mushrooms with guns. Do I have your attention? Good.
Petal to the Metal is a bullet hell shoot'em up game. You play as a Flower, killing Mushrooms with your gun that upgrades the more you kill. Progress through the level to reach and destroy the final boss.
This game was made over the course of 6 months as the final project of my diploma in Game Art and Development, and selected as the winner of the Student's Slice at the NZ Game Awards 2020!
