Inspired by the game "Red Desert Render" (by Ian Maclarty):
Whenever you play Red Desert Render online, it shows how many other people are online with you via text. I've only ever seen the text "Online (With 0 Others)". That text (unintentionally) turned the game into a lonely and reflective experience, and made me think about mmos, nostalgia, time, fading memories - all that good stuff.
I tried to put those feelings into a short game.
Red Desert Render is a cool game and you should play it:

Tools/assets used:
fungus (scripting)
flat kit (shaders)
Keijiro Takahashi's datamosh shader
the final level uses the song "Plastisphere" by Matmos
