Play as a traveller stuck in a never-ending field full of eccentric monsters! This game is made as a submission for the 2022 One-Button Game Jam.

  If you're having performance issues in the web player, try downloading the game for your platform.For the best experience, I suggest playing this game using a controller that can vibrate. (Vibration seems to only work on native builds.)

  Tips

  You can learn other spells by completing specific 'milestones'. (e.g. slaying 5 monsters, fleeing 3 times, etc.)You can jump twice in the platformer mini-game.A mini-game is not complete until its window closes.You recover less MP from fleeing, however, it still marks the fight as 'complete' allowing you to progress faster.You can also recover MP by 'withdrawing'.Gameover fully restores your HP and MP.When prompted, click mysterious buttons to trigger a surprise.There are 15 'fixed' levels in total.Encounters after the final fight are randomised.

  Improved web player experience. Fixed the 'instructions not appearing' bug. Due to the change in how timing-related actions are handled, some mini-games may feel a bit different, if you played an earlier build. v1.1.0:

  Added 6 chance-based overworld events to the game. Added 8 unique items to the game. The textlines in the intro and outro screens are now skippable. Fixed the visual glitch caused by the monster selection interface. Added new methods for generating random numbers. If you played an earlier version, some things may behave a bit differently now.
