This is an interactive version of a poem called "Oh Rascal Children of Gaza" by Khaled Juma. When I first read this poem it felt like a punch to the heart. I wanted to focus on it for my game jam submission as a response to the dehumanization of Palestinian children that I've been seeing. I hope that by engaging with this jam entry people are encouraged to look at more Palestinian poems--to read their stories and learn more about their plight.
