As a lowly deck swabber in the crew of a spice trading vessel, you lived a very humble life. Though you visited distant lands and experienced many different cultures, your ambitions were simple, you kept to yourself, and made just enough to get by.
However, one night - on a trading expedition like any other - a rough storm took it's toll your ship and caused it to capsize. The last thing you remember is desperately trying to swim to the surface as you sank into the depths.
Suddenly, as if no time had passed at all, you find yourself awake in a shallow pool of water by a beach on a small island. This world is strange, but everything seems right.
