Ecstatic Beats is a game made for the annual GAME MAKER ITALIA contest.
It's an incomplete, buggy experimental work that won't ever get fully developed, one last whim before plunging into more serious & profitable projects.
With that said, I like to think that there's value to be found even in incomplete projects, as long as they give us emotions while we're giving them birth.
...Or maybe I'm just romaticizing failure!
A big THANK YOU to Amaya Daisuke & the band Archive. Oh, the font used in the game is called Minimum and I really like it-- sorry for making a mess out of it
Oh and water tiles belong to Cave Story, I hope Studio Pixel won't get mad at me for using those...
