  CRYSTALON

  Your kingdom, like many kingdoms in this world, draws its power from a crystal. The Crystalon. The legends tell, that the crystal can even be used to ascend to other plains where only wealth and pure bliss awaits. But Crystalon also holds an ancient curse. The undead ghosts from realms beyond this world are drawn to the crystal, always seeking to destroy it and everything around.

  As the king it is your duty to bring wealth to your kingdom and unveil the mystery of the old legends.

  ::::::::::::CONTROLS::::::::::::

  [WASD, ARROW KEYS] - Move camera

  [B] - Open build menu (also available via build button)

  [LEFT CLICK] - Interact or place building (when building is selected)

  [RIGHT CLICK] - Remove building

  Buildings in the building menu can also be selected by pressing enter or by double clicking

  Q: Why do my buildings have questionmarks above them?

  A: Buildings can only gather materials from adjacent resources. The questionmark is displayed when there is no resource to be gathered. Also note that only lumbermills can process wood, quarries only stone etc.

  Q: Where can I find gold, diamonds, etc.?

  A: Place a watchtower at the edge of the map to expand your territory. There are plenty of gold and diamond depots on the map. Explore a bit to find them

  This is a solo developer project. The game was developed during the Miz Jam 1 in 48 hours using the Godot Engine. All used assets are CC0 licensed.

  2020-08-24 Note:

  As some people experienced game breaking performance issues I've uploaded a new build today that addresses these issues. The game logic and features were completely left untouched and reflect the initial upload in every way.
