ADEPTH

"Adepth" is a 10-15 min first person horror experience where you must survive a sinking submarine. Move quickly through the submerged vessel and close the leaking valves to surface the ship and escape the craft.

  THE STORY The date is March 12th 1945, The USS Bass has been scuttled in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean and is sinking. XO Russel McConaughey awakens to a deserted sub with crew missing and the lower cabins flooding quickly. He must drain the ballast tanks throughout the sub and trigger an Emergency Blow to the surface. It’s his duty to ensure all remaining crew escape safely to await rescue on the surface.

  However, the impending depths aren’t the only thing to fear inside this vessel….an unusual creature has begun the hunt for prey. Pray, you make it out alive.

  FEATURES AN ATMOSPHERE OF PURE TERROR

  Traverse the ship quickly, you must search the ship in order to find the valves needed to right the ever sinking ship! A PURSURER FROM THE DEPTHS OF A NIGHTMARE

  While you search the ship, you're pursued by an ancient terror from the depths. It must be avoided to survive. EXPLORE THE VESSEL

  Valves must be tightened to raise the vessel, the sub has 4 levels to explore with objects laid throughout to help you fend off your attacker. ESCAPE

  Once you release all the required valves, you must escape to the surface. Race to the top of the ship, be careful though. This is when the monster is at it's most dangerous. HOW TO PLAY

  DOWNLOAD If you're having any trouble playing the browser version of the game, download the Windows or Mac version and play on your own desktop. These versions are slightly more stable and run a little smoother than the web version.

  DEVELOPMENT Adepth began it's life as a simple 48 hour game jam title. We believed in the idea and subsequently worked on the experience until we believed that it was ready for a full release. It was created with a 2 man team over the space of a few months in unity and blender.
